Hey guys. I love what many of you have accomplished with your tanks.
I'm not only new to the board but also the new to the salt water world.
I have been doing a lot of readings, I am still confused on how to set up an aquarium.
I have an eclipse 12 (12 gal) tank and so far it has sand and salt water (pre-mix from a fish store)
I have left it running for a couple of days now for it cycle but I know its not enough time to start adding fish.
I want to do a mixture of fish, a few inverts and reef. My wife loves the finding nemo movie so guess whats my first fishes. NEMO and DORI!
obviously not anytime soon.
For one thing I know I am limited due to my small tank.
I want to do it right and am willing to be patient as long as I know I am in the right track.
What should I add to my tank. I keep reading that live rock is almost a must, not just for looks but for the water as well.
I also keep reading to start with damsels but do i really have to?
Can anyone make a few suggestions or steer me in the right track.
thanks everyone
