Okay, I have had my 90 gallon up and running for a while now. I currently have 2 Ocellaris clowns, 1 lawnmower blenny, 1 cleaner shrimp, some turbo snails, some dwarf hermits and a pincushion urchin. I need some suggestions for some more fish! I know I want some sort of dwarf angel, and my boyfriend wants a yellow tang. (Yes, I know that most people think a 90 gallon is too small for any tang...I am trying to talk him out of it...) Anyway, any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks!! :joy:

A yellow tang or a Kole tang would be fine in your 90 gallon.
There are so many fish you can get that I would suggest browsing this web site, reading the info and picking a very few fish for diversity of color and body shape that are compatible.
One angel-all the dwarfs are similar in behavior, active swimmers-several colors.
the fairy wrasses are wonderful-colorful-peaceful -active swimmers, but they jump so have to be covered well.
Just go slowly, adding your most peaceful fish first and any more aggressive fish last-like a hawk or the angel

Yes an dwarf angel will go nicely either a flame or a bi color. make sure they are eating at the LFS and NOT brine. You could go with a yellow eye Kole tang in there if you have ALOT of rockwork. Tangs graze all day long. Plus supliment them (angel and tang) with some nori sheets. Barry

I kind of like the Kole tang, but he likes the boring yellow!
Actually, I had given up on the idea of any tangs, because most people don't think they should be in anything less than six feet long. I guess I will check out some of the wrasses...some of the ones I have seen are kinda cool looking...Thanks for your input!

wow...more replies..Thanks everyone! The tank has been set up for about six months, and I have a little over 100 pounds of live rock. I won't be getting anything for a couple of weeks, and I know that the angel should probably go in last, so it will be a while. I just wanted to get some ideas so I knew what direction to go in. Thank you so much! :joy:

You WILL need stable conditions, (my tank runs itself, I do 2 -1 gallon top offs each day) and I feed nori twice a day and fish food every other day. I have over 300lbs. of lr in my 125. My tangs all graze the entire day even after placing in a 2"x3" shhet of nore (gone in 20 seconds).
