My tank (36 bow front) has been up and running for several months now. T5 marine with an additional actinic, glass top, 40 g.cannister + 35 g. hang on filters. Established live rock with all kinds of critters. basic cleaning crew w/ fire shrimp and a red fire fish. 3/4 is live sand & 1/4 is crushed coral, (basically because I couldn't reach it without tearing down my creation of strategically placed LR). I loved socal57's tank, absolutely gorgeous! Of course, there is no way it would survive 24 hours with me, so I would love some very realistic suggestions for a beginner.
Oh, I think I would like a white and florescent orange goby to sift sand, but that is the only fish that I might like to add, unless there is something I need to know about him, I'm willing to negotiate pretty for health in any circumstance. I have a feather duster, but I'm not sure I care for them. They are the culprit for white spots on the tank glass right?
PS. I haven't killed anything yet.
