suggestions for upgrading to larger tank

Hey all,
I bought a larger tank and would like some suggestions on ways to move my critters and corals to the new tank. Right now I have snails and crabs, a pair of percs and a bi-color blennie. For corals I have some candy cane, shrooms, a ric and a toad stool. The new tank also has 150W of HQI, the old tank CF.
Thanks all for your help.

What size do you have? What size are you upgrading to? Can you leave one set up while you Set up the other?

Thanks for the reply. Right now I have 12g and will be upgrading to a 28g. And I can have both up at the same time.

I upgraded tank froma 75 to a 90 what i did is save all water from the 75 and put it in containers. Put coral in one container and live stock in other. Then I made the remaining salt water needed. I then transfered my sand and then added more live sand filled new tank with new and old water, let it settle with filters runningfor 2 days then I added my corals and live stock back into tank and I didn't loose anything it didn't even cycle.. here is a link to my original post with some pictures https://www.saltwaterfish.com/vb/showthread.php?t=258223
