Suggestions on Skimmer

Bakpak up and running and ive read on hear that it takes time to break in. As in example the million micro bubbles i have in my tank right now , but also it seems to be foaming but the foam just isnt coming all the way up the tube and into the cup and when it does it basiclly turns to water. So is this ok since its new or should i make any adjustments? And ita on a 55 w/ 35lblr and 15base.Any help would be great Thank you

Sometimes it takes a week or two for a skimmer to break in. You want to adjust the water level so it is just at the base of the collection cup...so the foam sort of puffs towards the surface...does this make sense?
