I have a green carpet that my poma angel has suddenly decided is food, does anyoen have any suggestions as to what i can use to possibly put over the anemone to still allow light in but keep the angel out?
note: its a fairly large anemone and fully inflated is about 10" in diameter

hate to say it, but ur only option is to remove one of them.
+1 on that. I don't have angels because the eat sponges as well. Anemones eat fish...Once something is food well...

I don't think it would leach anything but keeping it algae free seems like it would be a royal pain. Also eggcrate diffuses receivable light which could be a problem in the future.

well the plan is id wall off that side of the aquarium entirely from the fish for the anemone, so there will be no light diffusionas there will be no eggcrate above the anemone. ill proltl pull it out if ime gonan have company and for cleaning. I'm hoping once the angel is away from it for a while itll forget it(long shot i know)

file this one under massive fail; soon as i put up the eggcrate the anemone decided to roam.. guess it blocked out too much light :-( the good news is it freed its foot from the bottom of the aquarium so i can get it out of the tank and to somewhere it wont get nipped at.
