Honestly do you have enough flow? Diamond goby is a great fish. So is the I believe its called the yellow sleeper goby?
Diamond gobys are very hardy but will jump any chance they are given. My last one just commited suicide and went carpet surfing

I just got a diamond goby last week after having issues keeping my sand bed clean. Beware you will have marine snow for a long time. Its been a week and my tank looks like its covered in a fine layer of powder. I've heard after a few weeks it'll die down as the fine particulates in the sand get filtered out.
Oh yeah, and he already jumped into the back of the tank once. Took apart the whole tank thinking he got squished under a rock after burrowing, before taking apart my fuge.
