i have a large bta and a few days ago he decided to venture to the top of the tank and he go sucked in by my rio 1700 pwrhd.... and lived (thankfully). He was a lil beat up so i put him into the QT and figured i would block of the filter with a small bottle... well sure enough he found his way into the bottle and was stuck to the filter intake when i woke up the next morning. At this point I figured he was dead and didn't want to live anymore. I shut off the filter and let him drop out.... he was STILL alive!! I couldn't believe this.
Ok enough of the story time. My question is, can I rig up something for my rio pwrhd with panty hoses to prevent this from happening again. I hear a lot of people using panty hoses for different things, but never really knew if it was ok.
