"summer" slime on glass?

I have a 75g in a finished basement, there is no central air, or even much air movement since the basement windows are so small. The room is cool, but very humid. I have noticed considerably more algae on front glass that needs to be cleaned with my magnet cleaner now than in the winter time. I also have lots more evaporation too. Could this climate be the reason for the glass algae?
I have no other algae problems in tank, and my nitrates, phosphates etc. are undetectable.....

I have noticed that my tank is also needing more frequent wipedowns lately. I assumed it was just part of the development of the tank. I have less algea on the sand now, but more slime on the glass. My tank has been running for about six months.

My tank is over 2 years old now and I noticed this last summer too. Just wondering if any one else had same problem
