sump for 2 days and ready to ditch it!

had a sump running 2 days and soaked carpet twice!
first time drip filter tray over bio area got clogged or just slowed down and overflowed on carpet.
second time skimmer overflowed.
regardless of reasons I can`t have floods in 4th floor apartment! think I will go back to my fluval fx5 and clean it weekly. no noise,quiet and NO FLOODS!
my tank is 120 gal and the fluval puts out over 800 gph of flow and does water changes!

thats a tough one id say ur best bet is to ditch it if its guna have issues like that....
the sump on my 180 has never overlowed but id have to say if i lived in an apartment id just run the fulval id actually run 2 of them most likely
