Sump has me BAFFLED! Please Help!

I'm making a sump out of my 75g AGA. My display tank is a RR 90G. The sump tank is 48" x 18" x 20". The question I have is how tall do I need to make my baffles? Any other improvements I need to make? Let me know what you think. Thanks!

your last baffle needs to be the same hight as the water level in your fuge, so first you need to figure out how deep of a sand bed youll have in your fuge, and how much water youll need on top of the sand bed to keep the macro algeas mooving freely. then youll need to make sure that your pump area is large enough to hold all of the water in the event of a power loss. sounds complicated but once you figure that out the rest is easy

i would put the 3 baffle bubble trap after the refugium. the area above the baffles is the area that will be taken up by drain water in the event of a power outtage. also keep this in mind while building it.
