Sump Powerhead Mount ??

So I am about to fill my first sump and have the mag 12 return all ready to go... but, I dont want to place it directly on the bottom glass of the sump. I figure eggcrate would have too much vibration and be noisy.
What are you guys using to rest it on???

You could try a filter pad or a filter sock or something of that nature.

I just have mine hanging from the hose maybe not correct bit it works and I dont hear it

the blue prefilter that you find in wet drys work well, not the ones you change out but the nice ones the you clean

i superglued some little rubber feet onto mine.

ty all for your responses. I am going to try some filter sponge since that happens to be already lying around here. lol anyway, if it doesnt work I do now have some great ideas too!

I bought a silicone pot holder and cut a piece out of it. The Mag pump rests on the pot holder on hte bottom of the sump...
