Is it really necessary to have a sump for a 75/125 gal FOWLR? what are the advantages? I know its a good place to keep equipment so u dont clutter the tank, but if clutter is not a concern, is a sump necessary?
No they are not necessary on any tank. Generally the benefits outweigh the cons but having a sump is not always feasible with everybody's setup or budget.
