I just got home w/ my new 120g w/ sump. Have never used a sump before and I heard you have to prime it??? if this is true could you please tell me how. To me it looks like the overflow will collect water then transfer it to the sump, goes through the LR, then to the pump and back to the tank again. to me it doesn't look like it needs to be primed.
also, how dou you set up the intake for the water to the sump if the power goes out, I don't want suction and gravity taking over if the power goes out...i'd have a big mess
