sump/refugium or hang on filters??

Hi everyone! I am getting a 45-58 gallon filter..Not sure yet. But I wanted to know which filtration system has worked for you. I want to get whatever is best as to cut down on tons of maintenance. Please..I know there is maintenance..but I know certain equipment can help cut it down significantly.
Please send any suggestions my way and I will get whatever is best. Money is not an issue right now..so please let me know what you think.

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying-A 45g to 58g filter? What exactly does that mean? Do you mean a 45g-58g sump/fuge? Make sure to invest in a quality skimmer. If you want to have a little maintenance as possible, I would set up a sump/fuge along with a HOB filter to just run carbon in. I would stay away from canister filters to avoid excessive maintenance. The HOB filter will give you greater D.O. levels and I wouldn't run floss, just carbon.

Sorry to have confused you..I meant that I am not 100% sure what size tank it will be..but it will be either a 45 or 58 gallon.
Any particular brands you recommend?

Still a little confused, do you mean a 45g or 58g display tank (DT) or fuge/sump? Either way you could check the online auction site, or the site of cages with glass backwards.

That would be the display tank. sump would probably be the minimum size I need to be able to add a reservoir for the top off system.
