Sump Set up for 20g

Any of you DIY have any ideas on setting up a sump/fuge for my 20g? Also equipment that i would need and diagrams if possible. :notsure:

I just set up 2 20 gallon long tanks 12 X 30 very carefully

back to back for a cube shape. there is a 12 gallon eclipse that is in the back of those two. The front of the stand is the sides away from the 12 gallon eclipse. You can walk all the way around it. The back tank is just a refugium. Underneath the tanks there is is sump. 20 gallon with a protien skimmer and the pumps to run the top tanks.
I did it so I could put a 250 mh over the middle of the two tanks and light two shallow reefs.

1 protien skimmer
3 overflows. I drilled the tanks on the sides and did elbow overflows.
1 heater

liive sand

2 months of trying to build an acrylic tank 30 X 30 X13. too much route 66.
