I want to build a sump for a 65 gal tank .
what size tank do I need for this , I have a little over 1/2 of the bottom of my cabinet to put one under my tank also want to add a skimmer .
Idealy, the sump would be as big as you can go. The inside diemsoins of your stand will dictate what you can do. It will make your life eaiser to figure out what skimmer you want and you can build the chamber to suite.
