sump syphon flow hlp plz

ive just got all my parts in place have done baffles as recomended on various threads ive seen on forum, ive a 30gal dt using 3/4" pvc syphon,ive got a quiet one 1200 pump, for return rated at 150-200 gph at 4' hight. im having a syphon flow problem i beleive 3/4" should handle 330 gph from a chart i saw, but ive had to turn my return pump to its lowest setting and its still slowly draing its area how can i increase sypon flow plz help ill try to get pics in its a hit or miss for some reason tyvm
obtw its a 10 gal tank on sump

Just basic questions here-
Is the water level in DT upto overflow so that if you add water it will drain. If not the pump could be draining the sump and not reaching the overflow.
If it is overflowing and the pump is working faster then the overflow then I would look for a blockage, kink, something is not allowing the overflow to work. Can you post a pic of the overflow, what kind, etc...

From your other post and this one, do you have a pic of that 'PVC syphon tube'? Or try and find one searching google?
I sincerely hope it's just not a u-tube that siphons right from the DT and drains right into sump...

AK I think he's talking about a PVC OF pipe. Hard to explain. there was a big thread about it not to long ago. Its not just a U-tube....

your right tim that threads what i based my sump on ill try to get pic in ty for hlp srry i got a pic in once now it just says windows cant im not comp exp srry
