my canister has issues with spitting out air bubbles form the return nozzle,
ive tried everything to fix the bubble problem.
-if i went to a sump will the return nozzle from the sump ever shoot out small to large amounts of airbubbles?

The possibility exists, but its easy to fix. Plus you're have all of the other benefits of a sump :)
