I have seen the colonies for 16-30$ online. I have a medium sized colony and wish I had a large as they are slow growers.

Beautiful! Is the sun coral in direct light there? And does it open during the day under those lights? I have one in ym 55 that used to open really well, but when I moved my 55 from home to office, it didn't make the trip too good, and has been slolwly deteriorating.

It is in mostly indirect light from the MH but it is not shaded from the VHO's . Maury does it still feed well?

Does anyone have any of the other color variations? I would love to see what the other ones look like before I decide on a color.

The info I've received on sun corals is that they are a low light coral. In nature they are often found in caves. The reason why they are a difficult species is because each polyp needs to be feed since it does not derive it's nutrients from light. I've had one for a month now and I feed it 3 times a week with an eye dropper.
