They are a lot of work only because you need to feed them when they are open and they only open at night. I've trained mine to open while the tank lights are still on so it isn't as difficult now.

I was sceptical at first about getting them just do to the feeding of these guys. But i dont think i could ever give em up

Medium. You will need to feed them and filtration should be adequate. Using small colony, bought in a good health - plump, not skinny - helps a lot.

I have a large yellow and small black and they seem to do fine. I feed them when I see them open, but only feeding 2-3 times a week though they open daily. I have been feeding them what I feed my zoas and they seem to like it.
And as said before, they do need to be fed since they are not photosynthetic.
But as long as theya re fed and given good flow they do OK.
