Sun Coral

Out of all the coral that I have had in the pass, I have never had a Sun Coral. So I got one today. I know they don't live off photosynthesis and you have to feed them a few times a week. Rightnow I have them in a cave. My question is do they have to be out of the light? Or are they doomed to a life of darkness? Thanks

If you can get it to come out with the lights on you're lucky as it makes it easy to feed. Mine would only come out hours after my bed time -- and then all the shrimp would steal the food anyways.
Love the coral but was extremely hard for me to feed until it was too late.

As long as you can feed it you can have it anywhere -- whether it opens or not being under lights is up to the coral.
