sun / orange cup coral feeding ?

Just wondering how often everybody feeds there sun coral

I feed mine every three - four days, plus it opens a bit when I feed the tank as well. Is this enough

That is enough to have it be healthy and happy but if you want it to grow you should feed every other day. Make sure also that you feed every polyp. I feed mysis, brine, clam, oyster, cyclopleeze, phytoplankton, amoung a few other things included in marine quizine carnivore.

If its not enough the coral will recede and shrivel, it may lose some color too. If it still responds to feedings and isnt shrinking in size then its probably getting enough food. But you should see in time new polyps emerging as this is a sign of the coral thriving. From here on out its a matter of how fast you want it to grow, the more food the faster but some growth is necessary.
