I would like to hear everyones comments who have used this light, good or bad about Sun Supply's Tek T5HO fixtures. I am thinking of buying the 48" 4x54w for my 75g reef and have only hear good things about it. Anyone ever had problems with theirs?
Thanks,
-Jesse

I have the 8x54w Tek and did have a ballast go out. But it was 2 months after I got it and the online place replaced it no questions asked. I went thru 4 of the Nova Extreme 8x54w in 6 months because of the same issue.

i have a 8x 54 TEK myslef, i had a ballast go out. i had mine replaced for free as well.
i love the fixture but if one bulb goes out, the whole ballast i think goes out. so its a matter of playing with bulbs for about 30 mins. i have done this 2x.
i love having 4 actinics and 4 white 10k's with the 2 switches.
overall i would go with it it, its a nice fixture, not to bad on the electric bill and gives you no limits for corals!

Had the 6x54 on my 75 before I broke it down and I loved it. I would definitely recommend the 6 bulb over the 4 for a 75.

I was going to just get the 8 since the 6 was $40 cheaper, but I seen this person's 75g reef and it was from top to bottom in clams and SPS under the 4x54w tek and she is having very good sps growth
