Sunburst anthias?

I just bought a sunburst anthias but only one. Should I have got a few to swim around together? The fish store said one but then I read in a book that anthias like to be together. The store had all there sunburst seperated in different tanks. I do have a reef tank. Thanks for any advice.

I have a recently published book which claims they are doomed without company. Question, do they reside in the Redsea as well as indo pacific, I am trying to do a purely Redsea tank, not easy.

The Red Sea is full of Anthias!!!! Seem to be more abundant there than anywhere else in the world!
