I almost picked up some of those yellow/lime zoos this weekend at my lfs. Instead I got some yellow and green singularity and cabbage coral. Seeing those pics makes me wish i would have gotten a frag of it.

Hey, Rye, I have the "Hi-Ho Silver" zoos as well, they actually came on my SWF.com LR. I call them the Venus Fly Trap of the Deep, though, because, to me at least, they look like that when you place a nice chunky piece of food in their disc. Anyway....yours looks so much more colorful. What lighting are you using now??
Also, do you keep Pajama Cardinals? I was actually thinking of getting a small school. If you do, what do you think of them? Maybe Bang could give me input, other withs with Pajamas.

Thanks. That is just a colorful variety of Zoanthids (Button Polyps). It can certainly be kept under VHO lighting. VHO really makes the colors pop.

Candy Cane Coral or Trumpet Coral are probably the most common names.
They don't require a lot of light, but I believe that they can adapt to strong lighting.
Trumpet or Candy Canes need to be fed.......I feed a product called Cyclop-eeze, DTs Phytoplankton, Brine Shrimp, Mysis Shrimp, etc.. - Try feeding them food with a syringe or turkey baster.
That is only a small portion of the actual coral......the coral I have has around 50 heads to it. It would probably sell in this area for $40-$60 depending on where you go.

Right now I have 5 x 110w VHO (3 Actinics and 2 10k) and 2 x 250w Ushio 10k Metal Halides. Honestly.......I think that the colors look better on mine because they are mixed in with a colony of orange zoos.......the orange is reflecting onto them. I completely understand the Venus Flytrap name! They look really cool when they eat.
I kept 3 PJ Cardinals in my 29g a while back, but I haven't tried any in my 120. I like more active fish and they can be pretty timid most times. Sometimes you will get lucky and get some that like to stay out in the open and just hover all day long.

6 heads for $18 isn't out of this world. The ones I got originally were small. I think that your's will be okay if you begin feeding it. Good luck and thanks for the compliments. :)

Yeah, from what I've read, the Pajamas are more a nocturnal fish and don't like our day light standards much.
