Clean water and good flow. Friends of mine who feed with phyto seem to have a problem with excess nutrients.(unless you are running a bigger skimmer)

i dont run any skimmer on my tank, I have my sunset in higher light and good flow, the rainbow monti I have I cant figure out what lighting it wants to color back fully. It was blue with red polyps like a super man so i am trying less light. Its better then it was I took it and it was all brown when it was in my buddies tank.
All my ORA acros are growing VERY nice as well. I dont think skimmer are highly needed. I do a 1-2G water change a week..My tank is only 15g and I dose B-Ionic Calcium and Alk once a day.

that's because neither coral can ingest phyto. it's useless.
