I had a chalice bubble up on me once.It was in high flow and the flesh was blown right off the skeleton. You might want to try to move it to a lower flow area. How long have you had this monti?

for about a month it was starting to encrust and look good now its not looking so good... ill try moving it to lower flow tho... how long of flow do u reccomend? did your challace bubble up then the skin came off or the skin just came off?

With my limited experience on this matter, once my chalice bubbled it was pretty much a death sentence for the affected area. The affected area deflated when i moved it and the skin fell off, however after i moved it to a more suitable area it recovered.

Just as long as u still have polyp extention it has a chance for a come backs when I first got my snset monti all of the tissue came off and it was completly white but I still had good PE. So I didn't give up on it. About a month later all the orange tisue return and now better then ever
