Super glue gel is a pretty common used to mount lots of stuff in an aquarium. It adheres frags pretty decent.

Either. I have done it both ways successfully.
It's easiest to put LR rubble next to your zoo colonies though.

yup.
When I frag off a piece I will superglue it to a rock I want it on. I tried the rubberband thing but it took to long.

I just got some clove polyps and a couple of zoo's I used the gel to glue them and it worked great. It was my first time trying it, just dry things off the best you can with a paper towel and use the glue sparingly. It's amazingly easy.

I would do that but I hate the rock they are on. It's real ugly looking and makes the zoo's look bad and have no sort of formity. I want to put them on a better base and just use the other rock in my kids 5 gal mini bowfront

Being that I want to move the entire clolony of 27 polyps how far down do I cut them, down to the base or just the crown?

what about breaking up the rock that they are on into multiple pieces. A hammer and a flathead screwdriver would do the trick. then you will have small enough frags to add to your kids 5g nano.

Are they the mat zoos?? Cause those will actually pull away from the rock they are on. Use a razor to start a small part and the just gently pull the mat up. If they are the polyps on stalks, then I've never fragged those so I couldn't help you.
