Super man Monti!!

I am picking up a superman montipora frag from a local reefer tomorrow and im really excited! Sucks that i am getting it, then leaving for vacation 2 days later, but i will get pics posted up before i leave!

What exactly does a "superman monti" look like?

its blue with red polyps, just do a quick google search for it. I can post any sites that have them. They are really pretty!

im getting it from a guy here in houston. He got it in the LFS he works in, so i am not sure of the actual original source. Cant wait to get it though.

for real... mine is actually a "wild" superman which is bs. its a designer name for a blue with red polyp monti.

HEres mine, its not as colored up as i would like it to be, but it came from the edge of the guys piece, and it just got put into my tank, so it should color up really nice inthe next 2 months!

Very nice. It will grow quickly.
It definitely prefers strong lighting. On mine, the part that is in the shade loses its blue coloration.

Here's my Tyree Superman... talk about some major PE... you can't even see the blue unless i tick it off..

it's still a beautiful piece. nice deep orange to it, no matter what the name of it is.
