Superglue Mushrooms?

I had a LARGE mushroom head pop off of my shroom rock and it's free floating around the tank. I'd really like it to not attach to anything but that same shroom rock, just maybe away from the cluster of others. Can I superglue it? There's no stem, it's just the flower looking part.

Yes,just let it sit in the sand until it attaches to some sand particles (a few days)...then glue the sand particles to a rock or whatever else you want to attach it to. If you try to glue it directly to a rock without it already attached to some sand....it will just slime, and fall off.

you could also place it in a small container of crushed coral or live rock and let it attach, then superglue it onto a rock. If you are not for that, you can take and lightly rubber band it to a rock... then it will attach and split in two.

What about toothpicking it to the rock? Eeew that sounds mean but last time I tried the methods listed above it died, was a Kenya Tree.

Now why haven't I thought of that
I just got over 100 mushrooms loose with sand on the bottom, never thought about the sand being able to superglue to the rock, good idea

Soft corals tend to slime off the glue.
I never could glue a softy. But now the sand thing or even a rubberband works well. JUst strap that bad boy to a rock.
