I had changed my skimmer setup a bit recently to where it finally stopped releasing a ton of bubbles into my system, but when it was setup that way the surface of the water had a heavy film buildup on top, and I was getting a little bit of cyano (oddly enough in the stronger flow areas, such as around powerheads and the skimmer output). Anyhow what do you guys do to help with this?
Currently (not counting the skimmer as I want to stop the bubbles and have the surface agitated well at the same time) I have a koralia 2 and a skilter 250 that I've converted to just a small hob fuge which I thought was plenty for surface agitation and it did well for awhile.
