My RBTA died on me last week and poisoned my entire tank. When my lights turned on last sunday all my fish (2 clowns, hawk, dotty back, bi pseudo) were laying on the botton gasping for water.
I was in the middle of cooking dinner for my wifes parents and had to leave to go buy some water for a major h2o change.
So I put some carbon and did a 20 gal water change. A few hours later my clowns were swimming up right and the hawk was sitting on his fav rock. I thought the other two guys were dead but that night they just showed up and were fine. Its been a week and everyone is doing well(I thought that they would all get ick but has not happened)!!!
