swapping from copper to hyposalinity??

I've been doing copper(for a week) but i dont have a tester to test how much i have in it.
Was wondering if i could go ahead and do hyposalinity and not haft to wait a extra week?

Wait the extra wk for what? To conclude the copper treatment? Hyposalinity is at min a 23 day treatment! And that does not include the time it takes to get the water down to 1.009 or back up to normal levels.

I mean copper takes 6 wks and i've done it for 1 wk and if i wanted to swap to hyposalinity could i count the week i've done copper?

No, you need to do a complete treatment, but hyposalinity is the better choice in terms of long-term fish health. It is just as effective as cooper wo any of the toxcitiy to fish.
