Does anyone know if SWF.com allows you to request the size of the fish you are going to receive? Specifically, I have a female(?) black saddleback clown and would like to get a mate, but obviously I need a smaller fish to add so there are no dominance fights....

To my knowledge they do not - however, if the clowns you have are small there is a chance that they would mate up anyway and the female will just outgrow the male. The size difference does not need to be that big in order for them to become mates.

I am only concerned because i have a black saddle back who has been living as the sole fish in his tank since May. I think he might be lonely and wanted to try and get him a mate, but I would feel terrible if I added in another fish and one killed the other so I thought if I were to purchase a fish that is smaller than the one I already have, the smaller fish will be more likely to "give in" and not fight with my current fish.

clownfish can change --- anyway, so it doesnt matter whether u get a male or female. only one dominate female is allowed in a clan.
