SWF.com saves the day

Since there have been a good number of posts about SWF order problems reently. Just wanted to post a great customer experience.
I had a rather large invert order setup, and in my notes had specified if any item is not available to not ship any of my order. I got my order no emerald crabs. SWF promply refunded my credit account. Once I contacted then explaining my notes, and having a big issue with paying the shipping fee's twice they gave my account a $20 Credit. Bad stuff/ accidents happen to everyone( yes even to those doctors playing in peoples hearts) and SWF.com seems to do a good job the majority of the time and cares about it's customers when issues do come up.

This is one of the biggest reasons business's lose customers. Having terrible customer service. I will pay a few bucks more to deal with a company that backs there product and takes care of there customers.

i got a response from swf.com last nite via private message. they claimed they never received my original email, which happens from time to time. they credited my card for the bleached miami orchid. i am very impressive with their customer service. i will sure buy from them again as i hv been doing every month.

I have nothing but good things to say about swf.c. You wouldn't stay in biz, and provide a forum like this, with shoddy service. They keep costs down in a lot of ways, like no way to phone, but their livestock, price, service, and guarantee speak for themselves. Of course, someone will have a problem at times; but that will happen to anyone in the live fish business. I think folks need to realize this and not gripe until they have really given swf a chance to make good...and IME, they always do. (OK, swf, where's my free fish for that nice plug ?

I'd like to say that I received a credit card refund for the dead snails I received. It did take several days to get a response and a correction to the refund amount (they only credited me for half of what they should have), but I do have to say that they did their best to make things right. I did end up having to eat the cost of shipping (about $3), but the credit card refund is MUCH better than a credit towards my next order.

I just wanted to chime in and say that I have placed 2 orders with SWF.com in the past view months and both times I have been extremely satisfied. In each order I ordered a fish and some other odds and ends. The fish arrived in excellent condition and took to the tank immediately. Everything else arrived in great shape too. Kudos to SWF.com!!!!!!

I feel sorry for everyone in retail, I've seen almost every scam in the book tried to my face, like I'm a complete moron. I can only imagine what you have to go thru with internet customers.

i'm sure people have read my post, but i too had a great experience with my last order.
everything came in fine, nothing was missing, but they emailed me and credited me immediately for a red gorgonian that their shipping dept said they didn't ship. well, i wrote back saying yes you did ship it (gotta be honest, specially since its what, $17?) and they said that i could keep the gorgo and they werent going to recharge me.
my order was pretty customer service intense, due to certain things that went on with the photo contest, and they are going to use it for training. i had credits, poll credits, not shipped item credits, free stuff (lagoon level), weird hermits in with my ordered hermits, and a whole bunch of other stuff going on hehe.
they handled everything pretty well decently, and i was able to put almost $200 worth of goods into good homes.
