The Bicolor Angelfish, Centropyge bicolor, also known as the Blue and Gold Angel, Pacific Rock Beauty, Oriole Angelfish, Two-Colored Angel, and the Oriole Dwarf Angel, has a split yellow and royal blue body with a yellow tail. It is one of the most common and most popular angel fish species in the aquarium trade. The Bicolor Angel can reach sizes of up to 6 inches and should be housed in a tank of at least 75 gallons with plenty of live rock and herbivorous matter. Moderately aggressive, the Bicolor Angelfish should not be housed with other aggressive fish. They are difficult to breed in captivity and males and females exhibit hermaphroditic characteristics. The Bicolor Angel feeds on a mixed diet of vegetation and small crustaceans including brine and mysis shrimp.
