Swicthing Tanks

I have a 56 Gallon, and I am thinking of upgrading to 120 gallon. Can anyone give me an idea on how difficult it is? I would need another 60 lbs of rock. I also want to put the tank in the same place it currently resides. Any suggestions?

I just did something similar upgrage from 29 to 90. Wanted to put it in same place...man I ended up changing my whole GD house around. I used the water form my 30, the rocks, and the sand. A little bit at a time of course. I'm going to start moving livestock tonight.

i recently move a 60gal and 50 gal into a 180 gal luckily i didnt have to put it in the same place so it wasnt to bad. get some large rubbermaid garbage cans and drain waterinto it. take rocks and put them in also. save a little water for a seperate container and put that with the substrate. put fish in the can with the rock assuming you have enough water in that one. move tank get new in place plus have extra saltwater ready for the added amount due to larger tank. go from there, its gonna take awhile maybe get some people to assist you. also expect a mini cyclemine got a little hint of ammonia for about 4 days.
