Swimming Level?

I just added a Orange Skunk Clownfish yesterday tom my 29 gallon tank. It is swimming at the top of the tank and then sometimes making splashes. why is that?

Sometimes normal behavior for a clown to hang around the area in which you released them. Other than that there could be some water quality issue or acclimation issue.

I put two false percs in my tank 3 months ago, and they still haven't left the top.

My larger one sleeps at the top of my tank every night while the smaller sleeps in my open brain. I think this is normal behaivior for a clown fish if there is such a thing. How are your water parameters?

my to clowns did that at first too, the first month the ONLY swam at the very top of the water, the next 2-3 months, they swam within 5-7 inches of the water, how they swim all over the place!
