switching cc to ls

hey every1, i was thinking about how people have said that having cc in your tank for a while may cause ur nitrates to go up, so now, i no that cc is bad and i need to get ls. Well i am thinking about switching over in a week or two. can u guys tell me is the the right way to do this, by the way all i have in my tank for livestock is a damsel.
get 2 tubawares
put my lr in 1
and but my water in the second 1
then i should take the cc out and throw it away
then add the ls in my tank, put a trashbag over it and take the water and put it back in the tank and take out the trashbag
then add my lr and my fish
does the sound right??

Mix saltwater in bin that the live rock will go into 24 hrs ahead of time.
Take your water out first before everything gets stirred up.
Take out the live rock and put it in the premixed saltwater. (The reason I suggest keeping it wet is because one never knows what could happen to interrupt the whole process and keep you from finishing in a timely manner.)
Take out the cc, keep pretty good amount of it, rinsing with saltwater and putting it in a clean stocking. When you put everything back in the tank just hang this in the water water column or, if you have have no corals on your live rock, lay it across your live rock so that the bacteria on the cc can help jumpstart things.
After cleaning out your tank and cleaning the ******** glass surfaces, put your live rock in then put in your live sand. This way burrowing creatures will not destabilize your reef. You can put base rock as the bottom layer, put in the live sand and then put your live rock on top of the base rock. Some people just put in the live sand and put their live rock on top hoping that they catch any destabilization before a rockslide occurs which can crack or break the tank. Different strokes for different folks. :yes:

I wouldn't bother putting the CC in a stocking and all that, your LR has plenty of bacteria on it, proabbly much more than all of the CC combined.
