Switching over to DSB

After my recent switch in my 90, from crushed coral to DSB...I have learned a few things...
More notably are:
-No matter how hard you try...it is messy, cloudy, creates a cycle and is a time consuming process...
-No matter how hard I tried...crabs and snails become victims...
-Sand storms suck...
-My surviving crabs hate me more now...whahhh :)
-The cycle of cleaning settlement from LR is a long process...
-I should have stayed in freshwater....

Sorry Dreeves you had such a pain of a time. When I switched, all I got was a sand storm (expected) and cleaning the glass and rock afterward. I did not cycle and everything in the tank made it just fine. I hope it is all goes great for you from now on.
