T-5 vs. Metal Halid vs. Lunar Lights for corals

What exactly is the difference between them all..coral wise? Is one better than the other? I have the T-5 set-up right now. Is it good enough to put whatever corals I want to put in my tank??

Metal Halide is the highest intensity lights with a wide spectrum range I believe the home hobbyist can have
Lunar lights or moon lights recreate nocturnal lighting in the ocean
T5s are florescent bulbs that give high intensity and run cool in a small diameter bulb
So to answer you question you need to research what lighting best suites the corals you want to keep. IMO a combination of all three is best. What size tank do you have

Well, I like the soft corals, Frags, Mushrooms, and Zoos. I have a 46 gallon bow with the 36" Glo T-5 lighting. I have yellow polyps in there now and they seem to love it. They open and close daily and they intake the food I put in for the fish as well.
