T5 lights and how long each light should be on?

whats a good time for the lights, and which switch turns on the acitics (SP?)....please help

most people turn on the actinic 1 hour before the main light comes on, and turn off actinic 1 hour after the main is off. i hv my t5 on 9-10 hours a day.

you have them on both switches on for 9-10 hours...and then turn the brighter or dimmer one on first and off last
