I have a 4x54W i believe t5nova extreme lights on a 55gallon and have rocks high up and can pu tin sand also...

if placed high up, a derasa is doable. make sure ur water paramters r ok and the tank is at least 4-5 months old.

its almost 8months will do on the high up, and now all i need is a clam!!!
CANT WAIT!!!
feed it fish eggs..is that okay?

no need to feed it anything. it lives off fish waste.

It can not live off of just excess chemicals in the water alone. I have had good luck with Roti-Feast lately by Reef Nutrition. But if you want an exact size, it is nanoplankton that they eat most of the time. Particulate size ranges are 3-30 microns most of the time.
