T5 vs. MH for zoas (and mushrooms and rics)

So I am planning on making my tank a soft reef tank, containing mostly just zoas rics and mushrooms.
I currently have 2 54 watt 10k T5's and 2 54 watt blue actinics and 8 LED moonlights over my 55 gallon tank.
Will upgrading the lighting to MH improve the color of the zoas etc? Is it worth the extra few hundred to upgrade to the MH? Or will it not effect the color enough to justify the cost?
If it is how many MHs (or watts of MHs) would be required over the tank?
Does anyone have any comparisons between a set of zoas under T5's and then the same (either exact same or same type) under MHs?

If it was me with the light setup over a 55gl I would leave it as it is. T5s are fine for zoas and most all soft corals. It will save you on elect. costs, bulb replacement costs and overheating tank issues. I love MH myself, but I only run my MH for a few hours a day and not specifically for my zoanthids. I prefer the T5 lighing I have for the zoanthid coloration and growth. JMO.
