T5HO survey.

There are currently a lot of people here who are using the T's now. And a lot of confusion surounding them still. But thats lighting for you. What I would like to do here is to have those who have these post up their specifications on their setup. I.E. What type of fixture they have, amount of bulbs, wattage, single or individul reflector, maker of fixture and if they know it ballast maker. Also we'll need to know tank size, type of corals kept, their general location in the tank(up high or on the sand bed etc.),How long these have been in there and how well they believe them to be doing.
Please lets dont start a discussion here, just post up you're stats.

I'll start:
65 gal, 36lx18wx24t Mixed reef
8x39 watt T5ho's,single reflector,workhorse ballasts(x2)
4 10.000k UV bulbs&4 super actinics.
SB is bright white.
Zooanthids,shrooms,frogspawn,crocea clam,rics,GSP,pulsing xenia,open brain,YSP,monticap>>>Most 1yr or more.
Acans, encrusting monti, several acros, green mille, for 3 months now.
No anemones.
All are doing well under my lighting, SPS's are showing growth and good color. Seems to be the same from when acclimated and came from a MH setup. Clam is not extending the mantle and is fed occasionally. I have had some bleaching from poor light acclimation on my part. All corals are mixed throughout my tank, at different levels, some SPS up high some down lower, none on the SB. Same with the softies, except the kenyas, they are tucked under a rock for now. My shrooms generally stay pretty small on the top, but they dont open that much more near the bottom.
I feed these corals a variety of oyster eggs, phyto, chopped shrimp, with 2 different vitamins. Probably bi weekly. So not very often.

75 gallon (48Lx18Db20H)
TEK 6x54 watt HO T5 fixture
Individual reflectors
I bought the setup used about 8 months ago and have not changed the bulbs yet so I do not know the exact types of bulbs other than that there are 2 actinic and 4 daylight.
Corals:
Red & Purple mushrooms (sand bed and lower rocks)
Xenia (originally on lower rocks, now everywhere)
Kenya Tree (same as xenia)
Hammer Coral ( upper rocks, 5 heads, has about tripled in size since I've had it, around the size of a softball now)
Candy Cane (upper rocks, doing OK. Have moved it a couple of times trying to find a good combo of lightsflow)
Zoas (sandbed)
Devils hand leather (low on the rocks)

I have (2) 54W Giesmann Actinic 03 lamps on my reef tank, running off a Workhorse 7.
I've been running for one year like this at 10hrs per day and have been fine, still on original lamps.
I guess really what corals I keep are irrelevant since it's just Actnic, but I thought I'd mention it.

55gal (48x13x20)
Aquactinics 48" TX5 fixture: (5) 54w bulbs individually reflected
(just removed 2x)> (1) Geisemann aquablue + (11k)
just added > (1) ATI Aquablue special (12k)
just added > (1) UVL 75/25 (14k)
(2) Geisemann pure actinic
(uses two Workhorse ballasts)
Photoperiod: Actinics; 10am-9pm full spectrum; 11-8 fuge; opposite actinics
Keeping all sorts of LPS and softies at all levels of the tank. SPS are in the upper 2/3, mostly acros, monti (cap and denae), tort, slimer, poccilopora, stylo, milli. Two crocea clams, one towards the top, and one in the middle. All corals have good color (since added the ATI and UVL bulbs) and most SPS add about 1/8-1/4" weekly. Polyp extention on softies was the best I have seen under any type of lighting system. Polyp extention on SPS varies, I'm still tweaking the flow.
Coral feeding: Cyclopeeze and DT's phyto 2-3x usually weekly. Spot feed with mysis occasionally (larger lps).
I've never been happier with the T5, and wouldn't consider any other lighting system for this tank.

I have a standard 55g with an ice cap retro with individual SLR reflectors minus the icecap ballast. Without the icecap ballast the lamps last longer, and I didn't particularly need to overdrive them. I have the oshram/schwabe ballast (sylvania, triad...same thing) from reefgeek. I have 1 ATI Aquablue, 1 UVL Aquasun, and 2 ATI Blueplus lamps. I built this into a standard aga canopy I bought at a pet store for like $70, and it looks and works great I think. The lights are extremely bright. I have zoos, xenias, shrooms, toadstool, colt coral, goniopora...all are doing fantastic as far as I can tell. I've been wanting to get some new corals, but the stores around here haven't had anything cool to add. I'm starting to get picky about the colors of coral I add to the tank, I'm sick of bland pinks, purples, and browns...I want pop!
