tail rot and bulging eye

i have a flame angel that has only been in my tank for about 2 weeks, i thought it was attacked by my loster becasue it had a big chunck of its tail missing. i got rid of the lobster and he tail kept disappearing. no fungus just missing tail. this has been going on for over a week and today when i got home i noticed his eye was bulging. what should i do? i dont have a hospital tank.

well, i was too late and the fish died. all the other fish seem to be fine. the first fish started getting symptoms about 2 weeks ago. is this probably no tail rot? because wouldnt the other fish get it if it was? i have a small container i got from the lfs, could i just add an air pump and add water to it from the tank. i would just do a water change every time a fish got sick by taking water from the tank and putting it into the small container so that way the water is already cycled? the fish will only be inm there about a week or 2 do i really need to buy new lights, bio filter, and everything else? i was thinking of just getting an air pump and a thermometer. will this work?
