Tailspot digging!

My tailspot has been endlessly picking up pieces of sand and chunks of shell and moving it, it seems as if he is making a hole. He definitely made a white patch though Does anyone know what he is trying to accomplish? SEE?

Blennies like to burrow.....so he is burrowing....LOL

Do you think he will eventually make a hole so he can pop his head out?
