I'm 99% sure one of my Bangaii cardinal's is holding eggs! He hasn't eaten in three days, (he's usually a pig like no other) and his mouth and cheeks are puffed up. Every once in a while he takes a quick series of small 'gulps' of fresh water, otherwise keeping his mouth shut tight.
I'm sure this is it... and now I've got work to do! I've read quite a bit on the rearing of these babes, but if anyone has any thoughts/suggestions/links I would love to hear them.
