Taming a Trigger

Any way to quarintine a Niger Trigger by putting him in a underwater box made of netting? I'm thinking this would allow my other fish to swim in his territory for a while and maybe he would learn he does not own the tank?
A few of my fish never come out of the rock as he constantly bully's them. Is there a non agressive fish I can add that will put him in his place yet be peaceful?
Thanks in Advance!

That would defeat the purpose of quarantining -- he needs to be in a tank completely separate from the display tank and the rest of your fish, in case he is carrying a parasite or shows some sign of ill health during the quarantine period. Sorry -- but you'll have to see how he gets along with the others when you are done with quarantine and are ready to introduce him to the main tank.

You could try removing him and rearranging the tank, then readding, that will re-establish terrority and make him the last fish in. However if your other fish are naturally timid or smaller it might just take over again.

The Trigger is not sick so not the reason to quarintine him. I was just thinking if he can stay in the tank but be kept in "quarters" for a bit, the other fish can swim close to him, thus (my hope) they will get along?
This site when I bought him says he is the most peaceful of Triggers. I have a Picasso Trigger I've had for years now and he seems quite peaceful but he now hides all the time since the Niger Trigger chase's him back to his corner.

i'm with ya buddy(pet junkie). my niger is quite aggressive as well. i'm thinking i might want a pink tail instead. the niger comes after my hand and seems to eat until i'm tired of feeding him. he's such a pig and quite a jerk, but i must say is a cool looking fish.
